I’m Simon, and welcome to Adventure Bagging, a British adventure travel blog. When living with other international students in the USA during University, I developed a passion for exploring new places, immersing myself in new cultures and telling stories from on and off the beaten path.
From Colombia to Chiang Mai, Papua New Guinea to Perranporth, this blog aims to give you inspiration to go and explore new places, learn new skills, and bag new adventures, both big and small 🙂

You might think this is a little off tangent from travel (which it is), but it’s a very important story.
In August 2020, brewdog became carbon negative. Climate change is a real problem, and these guys are doing something about it.
I’ve followed brewdog for a long time. In 2011 I bought shares in them and became an equity punk. They’ve had quite a ride since then, which you can read in this post.
They recently bought 2,000 acres of land in Scotland, and will plant over 1 million trees by 2022 (I get my own tree, which is nice).
Through a new crowdfunding round, every penny raised will go towards sustainability projects. AND you get plenty of perks for being an Equity Punk.
