SunGod Ski Goggles – A Video Review Of The Vanguards
Last Updated on
SunGod have launched a new pair of ski goggles – the Vanguards!
I’ve been waiting on my customised pair arriving in the post, so when they finally got delivered on Saturday, I thought I’d do a little video to unbox them, show you what they look like, do a comparison against SunGod’s other snow goggles, the Revolts, and give you an initial goggles review.
SunGod say the Vanguards are their best goggle yet, and after playing with them for the last 48 hours, I’m inclined to agree.
The Revolts have served me brilliantly over the last 2 years, but the Vanguards look and feel a lot more refined and polished.
So what’s new?
Well, according to SunGod, the Vanguards offer 20 per cent more vision (compared to their Revolts goggles) so you’ll be able to see more of the piste. As you’ll see in my comparison goggle video, I found more vision at the sides of the goggles, and especially at the top of the goggles.
As with their other products, the SunGod Vanguards are completely customisable. You can choose from three frame colours, six lenses to suit different light and weather conditions on the slopes, and several different strap designs.
***Update – I finally took the Vanguard goggles onto the slopes of Alpe d’Huez this month, and can confirm for this review that they are awesome! Great performers, and look good too! **

The Vanguards are selling like hot cakes – they cost £110, and you get free shipping with orders over £100, so you really are winning if you want a pair of new ski / snowboard goggles at a great price.

They appear to be the best ski goggles. Hope they are available for the best prices.
I would agree! The are the best goggles in terms of balancing price and performance 🙂
